NEW VORTEX 4+ FOR DUTCH TAXI OPERATOR

Mr Bart Peters (left) from HOVER EVENTS taking delivery of his new Vortex 4+, this craft was produced to Mr Peters exacting specification, which amongst other items included 2 rows of removalable bench seats (as opposed to the normal 1) and blown air heating to the foot areas of all the passengers. Once the taxi services, (and other operating duties are underway), Mr Peters expects to be ordering more craft for his new business venture.

He is the first private operator in Holland to reverse the Dutch Governments ban on the use of hovercraft, he expects to be doing contract work for the local government departments in his area.

His stated reason for chosing Vortex Services was 'the attention to detail in reducing operational noise' and 'the flexibility of the load area, whether it be for passengers or cargo'

UK Championship 2009

2009 was a very mixed year, whilst the various 'Team' Vortex craft dominated all the race meetings they attended, new babies, new families and lots of manufacturing work meant that many race craft only went to 2 or 3 meetings. Even so it was good to see all who did manage to turn up to race. Special note should go to the F503 race team and the F3 team who were on top form winning all the events they attended.

Once again congratulations to those who managed to go to all the meetings and were victorious.

                                World Championship 2010

This takes place in the UK this year, mid August at Towcester ace Course Northamptonshire. We are hopeful for a large collection of trophies across all the Formulas. There will be a large number of New Vortex craft and we wish the pilots / drivers every success.
