The Vortex 3+ builds upon the success of the Vortex 2 and 4. We were asked to produce a 3 seater craft with plenty of freeboard and high stability when resting on water. This craft has become our best seller as it is versatile in its seating arrangement and whilst it happily carries 3 adults many of the photographs on the next page show the craft with 4 people in it, we have operated with 6 passengers but it is a little cramped and coming ‘off hump’ takes a little longer.

 The Vortex 3 has the same thrust system as the 4 ie BMW engine, same fan size and the much acclaimed thrust deflectors, not only are these excellent for trimming the craft and getting the balance just right regardless of the passenger position, but they also block off the thrust air allowing easy manoeuvring on land and help in ‘flying’ the craft off the trailer.

 Internal space is maximised with the use of the BMW 2 cylinder engine giving 4 people plenty of room and still leaving luggage loading space.
